285 Central Park West has been renovated over the past few years, with its roof and exterior recently undergoing a major restoration. The St. Urban’s amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a gym with a full-sized indoor basketball court and bicycle storage. It is close to Central Park, shops and restaurants and the American Museum of Natural History.

Although it is very flamboyant and almost too robust in its assertive embellishments, it is truly one of the city's most spectacular residential properties."
