Carter’s Review

"Chelsea Stratus at 101 West 24th Street was completed in 2008 as the tallest condominium tower in Chelsea and the first condominium tower in the phalanx of apartment towers that sprouted in the city’s former flower district on the Avenue of the Americas above 23rd Street after a rezoning in the late 1990s.

The 204-unit building was developed on a former site of a parking lot that had been used by Con Edison by LCOR and designed by SLCE Architects."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "towering sentinel of Chelsea" offers "spectacular city views" from its "coveted" 37 stories. The "ultra-modern" glass structure boasts "impressive" amenities including a "state-of-the-art" fitness center with basketball court, "stunning" roof deck with "360-degree panoramas", and an "elegant" resident lounge. "Attentive" full-time doorman and valet services complement the "luxury living experience", while the "prime" 6th Avenue location puts you "steps away" from Madison Square Park, shopping, and multiple subway lines. Floor-to-ceiling windows and "sleek finishes" define the residences, though some note "higher floors command premium prices for the best views".
