Carter’s Review

"This impressive, 6-story residential co-operative building at 284 Lafayette Street on the southwest corner of Jersey Street across from the Puck Building in SoHo was converted from a loft warehouse.

The building, which is also known as 2 Jersey Street and 115 Crosby Street, was erected in 1891-2 and designed by John Rochester Thomas whose other major projects in New York were the Surrogates Court on Chambers Street and the Squadron Armory on Madison Avenue on the northeast corner at 94th Street. "
