Carter’s Review

"This attractive 7-story loft property at 27 Leonard Street in the heart of TriBeCa is distinguished by wrought-iron Juliet balconies and was converted to condominium apartments in 2003. It was built in 1876 for William B. Lawrence, a member of the board of governors of the New York Stock Exchange.

The apartments have central air-conditioning, exposed brickwork, arched windows, antique wood beams, new maple floors, laundry rooms, a video intercom system, and contemporary kitchens and baths. Most of the units have basement storage. The kitchens have cherry Shaker cabinets, Viking stainless steel gas ranges, Bosch stainless steel dishwashers, and honed blue slate countertops. The bathrooms have cast-iron Kohler soaking tubs and recessed medicine cabinets with tumbled white travertine marble floors and walls."
