Carter’s Review

"This 36-story apartment tower was one of the tallest in the Murray Hill area when it was built in 1974. A sheer tower with no balconies, it is also one of the most impressive with a strong sense of verticality accented by slightly recessed bays on its long sides. The building has 262 apartments, all with very large picture windows and it was converted to a cooperative in 1982. Because of its height and location, many apartments on upper floors have dazzling views. Its central location in Murray Hill, one of the city's most attractive neighborhoods, is just a few blocks from Grand Central Terminal, the New York Public Library and the Morgan Library."

Price/Room (Est)

Why are we displaying the estimated price per room?

For some co-ops, instead of price per square foot, we use an estimate of the number of rooms for each sold apartment to chart price changes over time. This is because many co-op listings do not include square footage information, and this makes it challenging to calculate accurate square-foot averages.

By displaying the price per estimated room count, we are able to provide a more reliable and consistent metric for comparing sales in the building. While we hope that this gives you a clearer sense of price trends in the building, all data should be independently verified. All data provided are only estimates and should not be used to make any purchase or sale decision.
