Overview of The Langston at 68 Bradhurst Avenue

Built in 2006, The Langston Condominium set a new benchmark for quality living in the Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill area, a reputation that endures to this day. This 10-story, 180-unit residential building at 68 Bradhurst Avenue offers a mix of middle-income, affordable, and market-rate housing, making it both accessible and desirable.

The Langston features a 24-hour attended lobby, live-in superintendent, residents’ gym, laundry facilities, bicycle storage, on-site parking (available for an extra fee), and a private residents’ terrace. Its pet-friendly amenities and proximity to Jackie Robinson Park provide added appeal for families and professionals alike.

Located just two express stops from Midtown via the A or D trains, The Langston is well-connected to the rest of Manhattan. Nearby, residents enjoy access to dining, shopping, and cultural attractions in Harlem and Hamilton Heights.

Apartments are thoughtfully designed with GE Profile stainless-steel kitchen appliances, Sienna Applewood cabinetry, Kohler Hourglass spa tubs, and LG washers/dryers. Select units feature 18-foot double-height window walls, electric fireplaces, dual-floor entry, and private terraces.

Designed by GreenbergFarrow architects, the building was part of NYC’s Cornerstone Program to develop new housing on vacant city land, including 18 low-income and 102 mixed-income units alongside market-rate apartments.

The development also includes 37,000 square feet of retail space and hosts cultural partnerships like the West Harlem Art Fund, Inc., which showcased local artists’ works in the building’s gallery spaces to celebrate Harlem’s rich heritage.

Offering both modern comforts and community-focused living, The Langston remains a standout in Harlem’s vibrant and historic landscape.
