Carter's Review

One of the tallest structures at Battery Park City, Liberty Court at 200 Rector Place offers breathtaking views of the harbor, the Statue of Liberty, the World Financial Center and the Lower Manhattan Skyline.

Bottom Line

Residents here enjoy the 1.2-mile-long esplanade along the Hudson River and the public art and several parks at Battery Park City as well as the many restaurants and stores at the impressive Winter garden and attractive office buildings at its World Financial Center nearby.

Description

One of Franzen's best designs, the tower has a strong vertical accent of alternating colors and fine proportions.

It also has a large octagonal open pavilion in its large courtyard with swimming pool next to a large landscaped area facing a large rounded drive across the street.

The tower has a stepped roof with a large oculus.

The building has two entrances, one on Rector Place and the other on West Thames Street and both have a full-time doorman and concierge.

Amenities

The building has a health club, concierges, doormen, a garage, storage, a lounge, a bicycle room and a laundry on every floor.
