Carter's Review

Tribeca Green is an attractive, 24-story rental apartment building with 274 units that is located at the northern end of Battery Park City in Manhattan at 325 North End Avenue at Warren Street.

 

It was developed in 2004 by The Related Companies.

 

It was designed by Robert A. M. Stern and Ismael Levy.

 

It received a LEED-certified Gold Building rating as a model of sustainable architecture.

Bottom Line

An attractive, red-brick, non-smoking rental building with many amenities near the north end of Battery Park City.

Description

The red-brick building has a 14-story base with a setback, 10-story, off-center tower that is capped with a setback mechanical penthouse clad with photovoltaic panels.

The building has a shallow metal cornice atop its tower and many corner windows framed with metallic elements.

The building has 4,900 square feet of retail space.

The building has an entrance marquee and a revolving front door and its lobby overlooks Teardrop Park.

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour doorman, concierge, a fitness center, an ATM machine, a children’s playroom, an entertainment lounge with bar and kitchen facilities, valet parking, valet, maid and dry cleaning services, a conference room and a bicycle and pram storage room.  It permits pets.

 

Apartments

Apartments have Kitchen Aide energy-star rated stainless steel appliances, fresh air filtration and ventilation systems, oak parquet flooring, carpeted bedrooms, all-white kitchen cabinetry and marble baths with Venetian accents.

Penthouse C is a two-bedroom unit with a 16-foot-wide living room with an 8-foot-wide dining alcove with a pass-through kitchen.

Apartment 20H is a two-bedroom unit with an 18-foot-wide living room with a 10-foot-square dining area and an enclosed, windowed kitchen, and a 12-foot-square library.
