Carter’s Review

"Bauhouse, a New York City-based real estate development and investment firm, has recently closed on a $32 million rental portfolio in one the city's most luxurious old enclaves at 428-432 East 58th Street. Sutton Place is home to numerous exclusive co-ops, historical townhouses, and parks, and is renowned for being a quiet part of town.

Plans have been drawn up by Norman Foster's firm for a luxury 900-foot condo tower in Sutton Place. It includes 95 extravagant, modern units which will feature remarkable, panoramic vistas of Midtown, Downtown, Brooklyn, Central Park and the East River. Should the plans for the new 268,000-square-foot apartment building be approved, and completed as planned, Sutton Place Tower will be the first ultra-luxury residential development in the area. Furthermore, it will be the second-tallest building on the Upper East Side, and will inevitably impact the New York City skyline."
