Carter's Review

This distinctive, 12-story building at 561 Pacific Street on the northern corner of Pacific Street and Fourth Avenue in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn has 63 condominium units and was scheduled to open in 2020.  The project is known as Five Six One Pacific. 

The developer is Adam America Real Estate, which purchased the site in 2017. 

ODA is the architect. 

The building is a block away from the Barclays Center and its many transit connections and Atlantic Avenue.

Bottom Line

A very handsome, mid-rise apartment building with an earthtone brick façade at its base and numerous setbacks at the top eight floors with asymmetric fenestration, some corner windows and a central courtyard.

Description

The light-colored brick building has its top floor and part of the floor beneath it clad in gunmetal aluminum panels. 

It has an irregular fenestration pattern, protruded window frames, and some corner windows. 

It has an entrance marquee and sidewalk landscaping. 

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour concierge, a landscaped, Japanese-style garden, a gym, a children's playroom, a residential lounge, a garage, bicycle storage, storage, a landscaped roof deck and ground-floor retail.

Apartment 309 is a three-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to a 12-foot-wide office and a 25-foot-long great room with an open kitchen with a breakfast bar. 

Apartment 905 is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer that leads to a 22-foot-long great room with an open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a 12-foot-wide balcony. 

Apartment 305 is a two-bedroom unit with an entry foyer next to an open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a 25-foot-long great room. 

Apartment 502 is a two-bedroom unit with a 26-foot-long great room with an open kitchen with a breakfast bar. 

Apartment 202 is a one-bedroom unit with a 26-foot-long great room with an open kitchen with a breakfast bar.
