Carter's Review

This attractive, 7-story, mid-block building at 207 West 75th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue was erected in 2018 and has only six full-floor condominium apartments.

It was developed by Opal Holdings and designed by Jeffrey Cole Architects and Gary Brown Interiors.

The site was formerly occupied by a two-story stable house that once had Beach Bum Tanning as a ground-floor tenant.

A previous plan by Felipe Coello for the site by Morris Adjmi was a 14-story residential building with broadly arched windows on alternate floors facing the street.

Bottom Line

This mid-block building is an attractive, small and modern boutique condominium building in a prime Upper West Side location near Broadway.

Description

The building is faced with white porcelain tiles, dark grey metal panels and a projecting exposed steel frame around the top two floors.

The lobby has Calacatta polished marble walls and flooring.

Amenities

The building has a part-time doorman, a keyed-locked elevator, a bicycle room and storage.

Apartments

Apartments are full-floor and have outdoor space, washers and dryers, some coffered ceilings and open kitchens with Miele appliances, white cabinetry and Silestone quartz counters.

Apartment 2 is a three-bedroom unit with 1,905 square feet of interior space and 750 square feet of outdoor space, a 22-foot-long living/dining room and a 13-foot-long kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Apartment 3 is a three-bedroom unit with 1,923 square feet of interior space and 71 square feet of outdoor space with a 20-foot-long living/dining room and a 10-foot-wide kitchen with a breakfast bar.
