"The Upper West Side has many twin-towered residential buildings, but not too many twins.

The buildings are almost identical with the exceptions that the watertower enclosure at 222 West 83rd Street has had its masonry replaced with light-colored stucco, slight differences between the fenestration patterns of the two buildings, and the fact that the façades at 222 West 83rd Street are lighter in color because of a recent cleaning."
