Completed in the summer of 2023, this space seamlessly merges the original charm of its prewar structure with contemporary Italian finishes.

Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by a graceful continuity of curves that lead from the entryway through the loft-like layout, bringing abundant natural light and an open, airy feel. This thoughtful design enhances sustainability and minimizes energy use.

The bathrooms are a luxurious feature, crafted with Carrara marble by SALVATORI, a Milan-based design firm.

One bathroom offers a porcelain freestanding tub and a bamboo-finished double sink, while the other pays homage to Issey Miyake with a pliss style, featuring a rectangular sink and a rainfall shower. Both bathrooms include custom Italian-made medicine cabinets with wood interiors and blackened steel frames, heated flooring, and herringbone-patterned tile mimicking the wood floors throughout the apartment.

The living room is both elegant and modern, with a custom bookcase and two sets of windows, one framed by a decorative railing. The room’s wall moldings echo the apartment’s classic origins, and the marble fireplace, crafted from stunning Calacatta turquoise stone, serves as a striking decorative piece.

The furniture is a stylish mix, with a geometric marble coffee table, a white leather sofa, a purple daybed, and a blue lacquer cabinet.

In the kitchen and dining room, you’ll find an Elmar kitchen with Miele appliances and a marble backsplash and countertop, continuing the Calacatta turquoise theme. The dining room features a wooden square table, a cowhide rug, and a Noguchi light fixture, with storage cabinets providing ample space.

The apartment has three bedrooms, each with built-in closets by LEMA, with the master bedroom boasting a walk-in closet and a beautifully crafted glass sink by Antonio Lupi. This room also includes a seed cloud light installation by Ochre and an RH linen king bed.

The adjacent bedroom, contains original pieces from the Gramercy Park Hotel, with an enlarged window and a king bed featuring a blue velvet headboard and a chandelier made of Murano glass with 24K gold spray. The third bedroom, painted in a darker shade, has two twin beds, a crystal chandelier, and an additional linen closet to complement the wall closet.

A full washer/dryer closet is also included in the apartment with appliances made by BOSCH.

Furniture can be moved to storage if requested.
