Carter's Review
This pleasant, 13-story, red-brick, apartment building is a condominium and has 93 units.
The building has a one-story, rusticated limestone base, a very nice lobby with a fireplace, decorative balconies above the fourth floor and blow the second floor from the top. It has a doorman, one-step-up entrance, protruding air-conditioners, no sidewalk landscaping, no health club, no roof deck and no garage.
The neighborhood is one of the city's finest architecturally with many superb pre-World War II apartment buildings and some well-designed late 20th Century apartment houses as well. The lively area has many restaurants and stores. There is a subway station at 86th Street where there is also excellent cross-town bus service.
