Carter's Review

This very handsome, five-story building at 182 West 82nd Street was converted to a condominium in 2013 by The Naftali Group, which is headed by Miki Naftali.

It has 11 apartments.

ODA was the architect for the conversion of the building that dates to 1900.

Bottom Line

In the best of all possible worlds, if your side-street is not lined with marvelous marble mansions, it should have very handsome, low-rise buildings like this one.

Description

The building has arched windows on the first and top floors, bandcourses above the first and fourth floors and a cornice.

Amenities

The building has a full-time doorman, a virtual concierge, a full-time superintendent, a fitness center, bicycle storage and storage units.

Apartments

Open kitchens have six-burner stoves, two ovens and a wine chiller, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a microwave in a drawer and a marble island.

Baths have free-standing tubs and showers with four heads.

The townhouse units have entrances both from the street and the lobby, which has a fireplace.

The penthouse east unit is a three-bedroom duplex with very large terraces on both levels.

The townhouse west unit has three levels with four bedrooms and a 33-foot-long recreation room and a fireplace in the living room that is adjacent to the kitchen that is next to the very large kitchen with a large bay windows.

Four-bedroom units have an angled, corner, master bedroom with a large bathroom with a bay windows, a large entry foyer and a large living room with an open kitchen.
