Overview of The Brooklyn Trust Company Building at 138 Pierrepont Street

The Brooklyn Trust Company Building has been converted under the watchful eye of the Stahl Organization and architect Barry Rice. Built on the corner of Pierrepont and Clinton Street in 1913, the landmarked Italian high-renaissance building is a commanding and impressive structure. Modeled after Verona's Palazzo della Gran Guardia, the limestone building has undergone an interior conversion while retaining its palatial exterior.

The lobby speaks luxury and is well attended by a full time doorman. The building also features storage, music practice room, children's play rooms, owner's lounge, pet spa, roof terrace, and gym. Immediately adjacent to the R, 2, 3, 4, 5 trains and in close distance to the A, C, and F, incredible restaurants and shops, this building is in an excellent location in one of Brooklyn's premier neighborhoods, Brooklyn Heights.

Carter’s Review

"The Brooklyn Trust Company Building at 177 Montague Street at Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights is one of the handsomest pre-war buildings in Brooklyn and its top floors were converted in 2015 to 12 residential condominiums.

Its great banking spaces in the base of the building are now used by the Chase Bank."
