Carter's Review
This 22-story, white-brick apartment building at 1020 Park Avenue on the northwest corner at 85th Street was erected in 1963 by the Lipman-Spitzer Company.
The architects were Wechsler & Schimenti.
It has 52 apartments and was converted to a white glove, full-service co-operative in 1966. Amenities include a full-time doorman, elevator operator, two private storage bins, and a bike room.
The prime Upper East Side location is close to Central Park, Museum Mile, Madison Avenue shopping, and transportation.

A pleasant white-brick, post-war building at one of Park Avenue’s most attractive intersections.

The building is across 85th Street from a very attractive church with a fine spire and is catty-corner to one of the city’s most lovely townhouses on the southeast corner at Park Avenue.
The building has some bay windows near its top, which is chamfered.

Apartment 10/11D is a two-bedroom duplex unit with a 10-foot-long entry foyer with staircase opening onto a 24-foot-living room and a large dining room next to the kitchen on the lower level and the bedrooms above.

There is excellent public transportation and shopping nearby.
A fire station is a block-and-a-half to the east and a west-bound thoroughfare through Central Park is two blocks west.
