Carter's Review
This pleasant, 9-story, mid-block apartment building is a cooperative with 39 apartments. It was erected in 1923.
The brown-brick building has a one-step-up, canopied entrance with a Romanesque-style entrance surround with flanking wall lanterns. It has a doorman, some balconies, sidewalk landscaping, inconsistent fenestration, a garden, protruding air-conditioners, no balconies, no garage and no health club.
There is good local shopping in the vicinity and there is express subway station at Lexington Avenue and 86th Street. There is good cross-town bus service on 79th and 86th Streets.
