Carter's Review
This very attractive, 9-story apartment building was erected in 1915 and converted to a cooperative in 1986. It has 35 apartments.
The gray-brick building has a canopied entrance with a limestone surround and very handsome balconies on the third and six floors. The building has sidewalk landscaping but no doorman, no garage, no health club. It permits protruding air-conditioners and has large windows and consistent fenestration.
This is a quiet street in a busy, but convenient neighborhood. Supermarkets and video rental stores are nearby and an express subway station is two blocks to the north. There is excellent crosstown bus service on 86th Street, where there are movie theaters and a wide variety of stores, and 79th Streets.
There are many restaurants in the vicinity and Central Park and Fifth Avenue's "Museum Mile" are not far away.
