Carter's Review
This pleasant, 15-story, apartment building was erected in 1961 and is a cooperative with 64 apartments.
This red-brick building has a good Upper East Side location not far from Lenox Hill Hospital. It has a canopied entrance and a one-story gray granite base, sidewalk landscaping, discrete air-conditioners, some terraces, consistent fenestration and a doorman. It has no garage, no health club and no balconies.
There is good local shopping and good cross-town bus service on 86th Street where there is also an express subway station. There are many nearby food stores and restaurants and the neighborhood is convenient to many schools and cultural and religious institutions. There is considerable traffic on the avenue.
