Carter's Review
This attractive, 6-story, apartment building is a cooperative and has 42 units.
The beige-brick, mid-block building has a good location in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood and a canopied entrance flanked by wall lanterns, a one-step-up vestibule and a two-step-up lobby. It has attractive fire escapes, protruding air-conditioners, a part-time doorman and inconsistent fenestration. It has no doorman, no health club, no garage, and no sidewalk landscaping.
It is adjacent to a church and has very good local shopping. There are several fine private schools and some religious institutions in this area.
There is an express subway station at Lexington Avenue and 86th Street and there is excellent cross-town bus service on 86th Street.
