Carter's Review
This attractive, 17-story building was erected in 1928 and is cooperative with 83 apartments.
The beige-brick, mid-block building has a canopied entrance with a two-story limestone entrance surround, sidewalk landscaping, a doorman, protruding air-conditioners, and a three-step-down lobby. It has an exposed rooftop water-tank and no garage, no health club and no roof deck.
This is very good Carnegie Hill neighborhood location that is close to several private schools, numerous religious and cultural institutions. There is good local shopping and a subway station at 96th Street and Lexington Avenue. There is good cross-town bus service on 96th Street and Central Park is only a block-and-a-half away.
