Carter's Review
This handsome, 12-story, apartment building was erected just west of Third Avenue in 1928 and is a cooperative with 82 units.
This white-brick building has a good Upper East Side location not far from Lenox Hill Hospital. It has a two-story, painted limestone base, sidewalk landscaping, protruding air-conditioners, two band-courses, a doorman, consistent fenestration and nice decorative detailing. It has a one-step-up entrance flanked by wall lanterns with wrought-iron doors and decorative balconies and three band-courses.
Its beautiful lobby is staffed with a full-time doorman, and a live-in superintendent is also on hand. Amenities include a new gym, courtyard garden, storage space, laundry room, and bike room.
It is conveniently located near Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Eli's Market, Citarella, Antonucci Cafe, Atlantic Grill, Soul Cycle, and Equinox. The 4, 5, 6, and Q trains are easily accessible.
