Carter’s Review

"This clean-cut, restrained but elegant, limestone-clad, apartment tower was erected in 1981. It is a condominium and has only 35 apartments.

The building, known as La Residence, has a one-step-up entrance that leads to very handsome, paneled lobby with a concierge. The building has some handsome balconies inset in the tower's base facing the avenue, some 13-foot-high living rooms, discrete air-conditioners and mahagony-framed windows. It has no garage, no health club, no sidewalk landscaping and no roof deck."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "thoughtfully designed" tower features a "clever setback" that helps it blend seamlessly with the streetscape. The "boutique-style" floor plans offer just two units per floor, while some residents have created "grand combinations." The "coveted" penthouse boasts "soaring" 13' ceilings, and the location is simply "dreamy."
