The Owner's Story
My dream was a simple one. I wanted my son, Michael, to live nearby. I had little time to waste: he was graduating college.
I needed the perfect apartment to lure him to live near me, and I found it! Apartment 4B at The Century, A dream home, Beautiful, across from Central Park, and in an historic and one of a kind condominium near to everything.
Michael took me up on my offer. He loved the place.
But, then came graduate school, where he met the lovely Anne. The two of them moved out West to great jobs, and marriage, and the building of a family with my two incredible grand kids. It was "the whole catastrophe," as Zorba the Greek said.
I couldn't be happier, but what about the apartment? What about the whole family being together? Career and life - it gets in the way sometimes.
So, now, with a heavy heart, I sell this jewel of an asset. It's in an iconic building on Central Park.
And, they aren't making any more of these, last I checked. It's a condominium, another rarity by the Park. And it's in a world class location. This is as good as it gets.
Feel free to call me if you'd like to know more (about my grandchildren, or Michael, or Anne.) Otherwise, ask Nan about the real estate. The capital appreciation on this over time will bring a smile to your face. I know you will love it as much as I did.
