Carter's Review

The Campiello Collection consists of two new buildings: 224 West 18th Street and 151 West 17th Street. Both buildings offer a 24-hour concierge and a full building staff. There is a fully equipped fitness center exclusively for the buildings' residents. Other building amenities include on-site (17th street only) parking and a common courtyard garden.

There are only one one or two condominium apartments per elevator bank. Apartments feature dramatic layouts, ranging from approximately 1,081 to 4,476 square feet, many with private outdoor space. Ceiling heights are 9 to 11 feet. Other amenities include tongue and groove maple flooring, oversized floor-to-ceiling windows and individual laundry hookups. Kitchens are equipped with wine cooler, refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Bathrooms are equally well equipped with separate shower stalls, marble floor base and designer lighting.

The penthouse units have good city views, terraces and gas-burning fireplaces.

The 12-story buildings were erected in 2002 and have an excellent location in Chelsea.
