Carter's Review

This 10-story, pre-war building at 308 West 30th Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues in Chelsea near the Hudson Yards is known as The Irving House.  It was erected in 1925 has 61 condominium apartments. 

It is one block south of Pennsylvania Station and near Macy's.

Bottom Line

A handsome, mid-block, mid-rise building 61 condo apartments, most with large living rooms, in Chelsea near Pennsylvania Station.

Description

The red-brick building has a white bandcourse above the second floor supported by handsome pilasters and two broken pediments on the first floor. 

The building has some balconies on the 6th and 8th floors. 

It has no cornice and discrete air-conditioners.

Amenities

The building has a roof deck, a bicycle room, a live-in superintendent, storage and central air-conditioning.

Apartments

Penthouse A is a one-bedroom unit wit 776 square feet of interior space and 1,163 square feet of outdoor space. It has a 29-foot-wide living/dining room and a open kitchen with a breakfast bar.
