Carter's Review

This 6-story apartment building at 244 Franklin Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn was erected in 2015 and has 12 condominium apartments.

It was developed by Urban View and Olabanji B. Awosika was the architect.

Bottom Line

A sprightly gray and pink mid-rise condo in Bedford-Stuyvesant with some elegant interior design touches.

Description

The building has a gray-panel façade that tops a large pink-panel section that extends/intrudes a bit on the gray area on the ground floor.

The third through the sixth floor on the right side of the building’s front have handsome dark metal railings.

The windows are nicely inset.

There is no sidewalk landscaping.

Amenities

The building has a roof deck and bicycle storage.

The bathrooms have a gray porcelain wall next to the bathtub and attractive recessed gray porcelain areas beneath the shower and next to the medicine cabinets.
