Carter's Review

This handsome, 19-story rental apartment building at One Flatbush at Flatbush Avenue and Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn was developed in 2018 by Capstone Equities, the Carlyle Group and the Slate Property Group.

The building has 183 units.

Hill West was the architect.

The wedge-shaped tower has a setback above the 12th floor and the base sides have dark red façades that do not appear in the setback tower sections.

Floors 4 to 13 have 14 apartments each and floors 14 to 19 have only seven.

Its base has three levels of retail space.

The building is adjacent to the 2, 3, 4 and 5 subway lines and across from the Flatbush Street Mall.

Bottom Line

A well-located, mid-rise tower in Downtown Brooklyn with handsome, multi-pane fenestration, a double-height lobby and superb subway access.
