Carter's Review

This attractive, 5-story building in the Vinegar Hill section of Brooklyn at 100 Gold Street has 10 condominium apartments and is located between Front and York Avenues.

It was developed and designed by Anthony Morena of REDD (Real Estate Design & Development) Group.

Units range in size from about 700 to 1,100 square feet, and include a studio duplex and a one-bedroom duplex on the first floor and basement levels and two two-bedroom duplexes on the top two floors. The middle two floors are one-bedroom units.

Apartments in the rear have balconies with west and north views and all units have a washer-dryer unit and central heat and air-conditioning.

Other amenities include bike and storage units, a common roof deck and a "Virtual Doorman" service. Additionally, garage parking will be provided by the developer for one year and FHA financing has been approved.

The building used zero VOC paint made in Brooklyn and has Energy Star appliances, radiant heat in the floors, recycled materials like terrace and roof pavers of recycled tires.

Apartments have wire-brushed white oak floors, 9-foot-high windows, and temperature control systems. Kitchens have Electrolux Icon appliances, white high-gloss kitchen cabinetry and quartz kitchen countertops.

The building has a roof deck, storage units, and bicycle storage and virtual concierge system.
