This very handsome, 7-story building at 123 Parkside Avenue in Brooklyn is known as The Parkside and was erected in 2014.
It has 119 rental apartments.
It was developed Clipper Equity and The Chetrit Group.
It was designed by Karl Fisher.
Its driveway entrance is highlighted by a rounded pier of bay windows and the driveway is entered on St. Paul’s Place and exited on Woodruff Avenue. The entrance does not overlook Prospect Park, which is around the corner.
Bottom Line
With its large curved driveway, very lush and extensive landscaping and two-terraced curved entrance, this is one of the city’s handsomest apartment building entrances just around the corner from one of the city’s greatest parks.
Description
This stepped, red-brick building has the middle section of its south wing faced with gray metal spandrels and its entrance is topped by a six-story pier of semi-circular bay windows with black spandrels.
The entrance faces a broad, curved driveway that is entered from St. Paul’s Place and exited on Woodruff Avenue and other side of the driveway is a large and handsome lawn.
It has attractive, seven-paned windows.
The lobby has a fireplace and a stainless steel circular column near the entrance and a ceiling with circular motifs.
