Carter's Review
This attractive 7-story, beige-brick building at 5 East 17th Street is half a block from Union Square and convenient to the Flatiron, Chelsea and Greenwich Village neighborhoods.
It has a lobby with a high ceiling, an elevator and marble wainscotting. The building has no sidewalk landscaping and no garage.
An older commercial structure it was converted to full-floor condominium apartments at the start of the millennium.
There is excellent public transportation in the vicinity as many as excellent shopping and many restaurants.
