Carter's Review

This attractive, 6-story, red-brick, mid-block apartment building at 114 East 27th Street between Park and Lexington avenues is known as The Park 27 and has 10 condominium apartments.

It was erected in 1910 and converted to a condominium in 2013 by Eland Realty LLC of which James Hefelfinger is a partner.

Gary H. Silver was the architect for the conversion.

Bottom Line

A handsome, 6-story, mid-block condo with only 10 apartments near the north end of Madison Square Park and a block away from a subway.

Description

The building has a rusticated, one-story limestone base and a red-brick façade with limestone quoins.

It has no sidewalk landscaping and permits air-conditioners.

Amenities

The building has outdoor entertainment space, a voice intercom, a laundry and an elevator. It allows pets.

Penthouse B is a two-bedroom duplex with a 7-foot-long enclosed kitchenette and a 23-foot-long living/dining room with a sliding door small balcony, one bedroom and a staircase on the upper level to the second bedroom on a 310-square-foot terrace on the upper level.
