The building has a laundry room, a basketball court, a childrens playground and a huge courtyard. This building is a Condop. The management company had changed in the middle of this deal so it was somewhat complicated. Douglas Elliman was taken over by Cooper Square Realty who now runs the building. Because the building is a condop the board had right of first refusal so approval was very easy. The immediate neighborhood consists of a lot of NYU Hospital Employees. Other than that the neighborhood is generally young. It has a lot of sports bars, restaurants and of course The Kips Bay Movie Theatre is a staple in the neighborhood.
