Carter's Review

This attractive, 6-story, modern, mid-block residential building at 79 Clay Street between Manhattan Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, was erected in 2015.

It was built by Urban View Development Group, which is headed by Bob Michaels and Nadal Hamo and designed by Infocus Design & Planning.

Bottom Line

An attractive, modern, Mediterranean-style, mid-block building in Greenpoint with only 8 condominium apartments including some duplexes.

Description

The building has a white façade with decorative stone elements.  It has three inset balconies on one side of the front with metal railings on the third, fourth and sixth floors, giving the building a syncopated feel, and the other side has double-height windows on the 2nd and 5th floors that also contribute to the syncopation.
