Carter's Review

One Morningside Park at 321 West 110th Street is a 22-story condominium tower with 55 apartments.

It opened in 2014 and was designed by GF55 Partners and built by Artimus Construction.

S. Russell Groves was the interior designer.

The building is also known as 240 Manhattan Avenue and 313-325 Cathedral Parkway.

Bottom Line

A two-tone tower with excellent views of Morningside Park to the west and Central Park to the east, it is close to Columbia University and the Cathedral Church of St. John The Divine and good public transportation.

Description

A bit ungainly with a gray, 6-six-story base and a beige 16-story, setback tower that is cantilevered in the rear over a building to the north of it on Morningside Avenue.

The base has an asymmetrical, but balanced fenestration pattern.

The tower has many corner windows and balconies, and its view are terrific.

Amenities

The building has a full-time doorman, a roof deck with an outdoor kitchen, a bicycle room, a fitness center, a laundry, cold storage for deliveries and some rooftop cabanas.

The building allows pets.

Apartments

The top two floor are full-floor penthouses with exterior space.

Apartments have wide-plank oak floors.

Kitchens on floors 15 to 20 have Sub-Zero refrigerators, Miele cooktops with built-in ovens and natural stone countertops.  Kitchens on floors 2 through 14 have Kitchen-Aid refrigerators and cooking ranges with quartz countertops.
