Carter’s Review

"This attractive, mottled beige-brick, 19-story building was erected in 1930 and converted to a cooperative in 1987. It has 120 apartments.

The building, which across the street from the Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Martyr, has a nicely modulated façade with handsome limestone detailing around the canopied entrance, angled balconies, gargoyles and octagonal finials on terrace setbacks. It has sidewalk landscaping, a doorman, and handsome, large, multi-paned windows."
