The attractive building at 501 East 74th Street is a 20-story rental apartment building on the northeast corner of York Avenue that was scheduled for completion in 2016.

Golden Asset LLC of which Benjamin Ohebshalom is a principal is the developer and the building is named after his mother. 

Stephen B. Jacobs is the architect.

The building has 82 apartments.

Bottom Line

This handsome apartment building is two blocks north of Sotheby’s, the auction house, and cross-town bus service, and is across York Avenue from two tall and very lushly landscaped apartment towers.

The building has a corner windows and balconies on York Avenue.

The top five-floors are setback.

There are five apartments on floors two through eight, six on floors nine through 15, two each on the 16th through the 18th floors and a duplex penthouse.

The double-height lobby has a fireplace.
