Carter's Review
This handsome, gray-brick, 20-story apartment building was erected in 1961. It is a cooperative and has 97 apartments.
It is directly across 71st Street from the very handsome Tower East apartment building that is set back on a low-rise base and it is catty-corner on the avenue to Grace's Marketplace, a popular gourmet food store.
It is central Upper East Side location is very convenient to many popular restaurants and local shopping is excellent.
The building has a one-story polished gray granite base, a canopied entrance with sidewalk landscaping and a doorman and it has many bay windows and some corner windows and very discrete air-conditioners. The building has a garage and basement storage, but no health club, no balconies and no roof deck.
There is good cross-town bus service on 72nd and 67th Streets and there is a subway station at 67th Street and Lexington Avenue.
