Carter's Review

The 12-story apartment building at 10-50 Jackson Avenue at Vernon Boulevard in Long Island City was erected in 2006 by Queens Plaza 27 LLC.

It has 48 condominium apartments. Amenities include a 2,000-square-foot furnished roof deck, concierge, and full-time resident manager.

The building is located in the heart of Hunters Point with direct access to the 7 train at the lobby. 

It was designed by Gene Kaufman for Vantage Partners and Vega P. Architecture did the interiors.

Bottom Line

A seven-sided, modern, mid-rise residential building with many amenities and balconies located steps away from the 7 train.

The building has discrete air-conditioners and ground-floor retail space.

Amenities

The building has a 24-hour concierge, roof deck, bike room, fitness center, parking, and storage. It is also pet-friendly.

Apartments have walk-in closets and kitchens with a Subzero refrigerator, a GE profile range, granite countertops and wood cabinetry.

Apartment 12 B is a two-bedroom unit with 1,015 square feet with a 15-foot-long living room with a 92-square-foot balcony, an 11-foot-wide dining alcove and a pass-through 10-foot-wide kitchen.

Apartments D on the 3rd through the 7th floor have 713 square feet with long entry foyers and 16-foot-long living rooms with enclosed 7-foot-wide kitchens and 99-square foot balconies.

Apartment 2A is a 813-square-foot one-bedroom unit with an angled living room with a dining area and a 9-foot-wide open kitchen with an island and a 556-square-foot angled terrace off the bedroom.

Apartments A on the 3rd through the 7th floor have 813 square feet and are one-bedroom units with angled living room with 10-square-foot balconies with open kitchens with islands and the bedrooms have 60-square-foot balconies.

Apartments A on the 9th through the 11th floor have 608 square feet and are one-bedroom units with angled living rooms with 12-foot-wide open kitchens with islands and 83-square-foot balconies.
