The 8-story residential condominium building known as 5th Street Lofts (5SL) at 5-09 48th Avenue in the Hunters Point section of Queens has 78 apartments and was completed in 2009. 

It was developed by Toll Brothers City Living and designed by H. Thomas O’Hara Architects.

Bottom Line

A clean-cut, modern, mid-rise, full-service condominium in Hunter’s Point with a garden courtyard and a bocce court. 

Description

The building has multi-paned, inset windows, some of which are also corner windows, and a setback above the 6th floor.

The building is also known as 47-39 and 47-45 5th Street, 5-01 and 5-25 48th Avenue and 5-22 and 5-28 47th Road.

The building has a 24-hour concierge, a garden courtyard with a bocce court, a live-in superintendent, a gym, cold storage, a bicycle room, a landscaped roof deck, a children’s playroom and a garage. It permits pets.
