Carter's Review

This attractive, 10-story apartment building at 42-60 Crescent Street in Long Island City, Queens, was erected in 2015 by Rising Developers Group & Stonecutter Capital Management.

The building is also known as 24-19 43rd Avenue and it has 37 condominium apartments.

It designed by Alfredo T. Fredericks.

Bottom Line

A handsome mid-rise apartment building in Long Island City with very attractive fenestration and a nice amenities package.

Description

The building has an end bay in gray masonry and the rest of the building has red masonry façades with discrete air-conditioners.

The building has an attractive, two-story-high lobby with a brick wall, wooden ceiling joists, sculptural steel beams and textured wood flooring.

Amenities

The building has an attended lobby, a garage, a fitness center, a landscaped terrace and a children’s playroom on the second floor, a library lounge on the third floor, in-unit washers and dryers, and a bicycle room.

Apartments

Apartments have some brick walls and large, multi-paned windows.

Kitchens have rift-cut, red-oak cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops, tiled backsplashes, electric stove and stainless-steel appliances.

Apartments on the 9th floor have terraces and apartments on the 10th floor have landscaped roof decks.

Apartment E on the 5th through the 8th floors is a three-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long living/dining room and a 43-foot-wide balcony and a 12-foot-wide open kitchen with a pass-through.

Apartment A on the 2nd through the 8th floors is a three-bedroom unit with a 15-foot-long living/dining room with a 13-foot-wide, open kitchen with a pass-through.
