Carter's Review
This large and attractive, red-brick building at 41-17 Crescent Street in Long Island City was erected in 2012 and has 130 rental apartments.
It is 17 stories tall and was developed by the Simon Development Group and Meadow Partners.
It was designed by Karl Fischer Architects and Andres Escobar did the interiors.
Bottom Line
A full-service building with many amenities, it is close to the N, Q and R subway lines and is about a block north of the Queens approach to the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.
Description
The asymmetrical, red-brick building has a 7-story base and then a large setback with swimming pool and some apartment balconies supported by two-story high stilts.
The ends of the setback have different heights and the setback tower is further modulated with indentations and numerous balconies. The base also has some corner balconies that are partially inset.

The building has a 24-hour attended lobby, a fitness center, a landscaped backyard with outdoor pool, BBQ grill and dining areas, a lounge, outdoor shower, a business lounge, a residents’ lounge, a billiards table, a catering kitchen and The Sky Club as well as cold and dry storage, bicycle storage and on-site parking.

Apartment 9C is a three-bedroom unit with 1,400 square feet and a 22-foot-long living/dining room with an open, pass-through kitchen and two terraces with 1,068 square feet.
