Carter's Review

This attractive, 16-story building at 41-21 28th Street in the Queens Plaza section of Long Island City was erected in 2018 and has 188 rental apartments and 675 square feet of commercial space. 

The building, which is known as The Delmar, was developed by All Year Management and designed by the Karl Fischer and The Meshberg Group.  The interior design is by Durukan Design. 

It is across from the Jet Blue headquarters and not far from subway stations.

Bottom Line

An impressive, industrial-style apartment building in the Queens Plaza section of Long Island City.

Description

The red-brick building has arched windows on the 3rd and 8th floors and setbacks above the 8th and the 13th floors. 

Its inset fenestration is multi-paned. 

The building has a large grey metal entrance marquee. 

Its lower two floors have rusticated façades and the third story is framed by two handsome bandcourses.

Amenities

The building has a full-time concierge, a fitness center, a screening room, a game lounge, a business center, storage, a bicycle room,  and two landscaped roof decks.

Apartments

Kitchens feature stainless steel appliances by Blomberg and Fisher & Paykel, breakfast bars, and polished, high-gloss grey, white, and wood cabinetry. Bathrooms feature rain showerheads and unusually shaped "statement" mirrors.
