Carter's Review

This 14-story condominium apartment building at 44-27 Purves Street in Long Island City was erected in 2006 and has 64 units.  It is known as the Vantage at Purves.

It was developed by Vantage Partners, a joint venture of the Emmy Building Company and The Lions Group.  Gene Kaufman was the architect.

Two blocks from Court Square in Long Island City, this mid-block apartment building has a full-time doorman and a live-in superintendent.

Description

The building has a two-story blue base with two blue window bays and a blue cornice and a façade of silver-colored metal panels. 

It has a canopied entrance.
