This very slick, 11-story apartment building at 24-15 Queens Plaza North close to the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge in Queens is known as View 59 and has 39 condominium apartments. 

It was developed by Louis Evangelista Jr., of Crescent Street LLC, in 2009. 

It was designed by Karl Fischer.

 

Bottom Line

A very modern looking mid-rise building close to the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge with large windows, a concierge and a roof deck.

 

Description

The boxy building has a lot of large blue-glass square windows separated by white stone elements with a few setbacks near the top and the top floor is all glass with some thin piers that flare outwards near the top.

Amenities

The building has a concierge, a fitness center, storage and a roof deck.

Apartments

Apartments have Jenn-Air and Bosch appliances and recessed lighting in the kitchens and double vanities in the bathrooms. 

The units have floor-to-ceiling windows. 

Apartment E on the 4th through the 8th floors is a one-bedroom unit with a pass-through kitchen and an angled 18-foot-long living room. 

Apartment 9C is a two-bedroom unit with a living room with a fireplace and a pass-through kitchen and a 91-square-foot rounded terrace off the living room and 543-square- foot terrace off the master bedroom. 

Apartment 9A is a two-bedroom unit with a pass-through kitchen and a gas fireplace in the 28-foot-long living room that opens onto a 24-foot-long terrace with an outdoor kitchen and a 15-foot-long terrace alcove with a hot tub.
