H. Thomas O'Hara has designed a 10-story addition to the 7-story building at 111 Fulton Street in Lower Manhattan.
The redevelopment project will create a new center atrium whose floor area is deducted from the existing building and transferred to its top.
According to Mr. O'Hara's website, the project is "currently in construction document phase, expected start of construction winter 2006."
The project, which is between Dutch and William Streets, is anticipated to include 289 residential condominium apartments.
It is close to the former Keuffel & Esser Building at 127 Fulton Street that is being converted into 6 condominium apartments by Andy Kettler of 127 Fulton LLC.
It is also to the east of the planned Fulton Street Transit Mall along Broadway that is being designed by Grimshaw.
Attempts by CityRealty.Com today to reach Mr. O'Hara for further details were unsuccessful.
