Duane Street conversion
By Carter Horsley   |   From Archives Wednesday, July 20, 2005
The five-story loft building at 137-41 Duane Street between West Broadway and Church Street is being converted to 21 condominium apartments by Paul Khakshouri.

The gray-brick building has a good TriBeCa location and is around the corner from the Odeon Restaurant on West Broadway and is also very close to the Bouley Bakery. Le Zinc, a popular French bistro is located in the building at 139 Duane Street.

The building, which is also known as 92 Thomas Street and the Duane Thomas Condo, has a two-story limestone base and the roof parapet has tiny arches. The building has very broad multipaned windows and no garage and no balconies.
