Gerald Brauser is planning to erect an 11-story condominium apartment building with 47 units at 611 Avenue of the Americas at 18th Street.
A spokesman for Mr. Brauser told CityRealty.com today that demolition of a three-story garge on the site will probably begin in November and that demolition of two adjacent structures on 18th Street will probably be completed in March and that the new building should be completed in early 2007.
The building is being constructed "as-of-right," that is, within existing building and zoning regulations.
Garrett Gourlay is the architect. He is also designing a
52-story condominium apartment building for Mr. Brauser at 111 Washington Street.
