West Village conversion plans
By Carter Horsley   |   From Archives Friday, August 12, 2005
Plans have been submitted to convert the very handsome five-story building at 367 and 369 Bleecker Street to 11 condominium apartments.

The red-brick building is on the northeast corner at Charles Street and is distinguished by its tall, 20-pane windows and mansard-style roof.

Originally, the sponsors planned to create a new entrance and add an elevator but subsequently decided not to add an elevator and to keep the existing two 1-step-up entrances.

The mid-19th Century building is in the heart of the West Village and there are two Ralph Lauren stores on the same block and it is half a block north of Condomania, a store that sells condoms.
